The winner of the Alan's War giveaway contest is . . .Joel H.! Joel wins a brand-spankin-new copy of Emmanuel Guibert's graphic novel Alan's War: The Memories of G.I. Alan Cope. In his contest entry, Joel wrote that he got hooked on comics when he read the Keith Giffen Legion of Superheroes ("circa issue 300 or so").
