That's a terrific list, but I fear you've overlooked a worthy 2010 release: mine!
ReplyDeleteLUCKY IN LOVE, book one: A Poor Man's Biography is due out from Fantagraphics this September. Written by George Chieffet, with art by myself (Stephen DeStefano), it's a bittersweet story of a man's fantasy life, male ideals and sexual interests as he grows up and grows old through the 20th Century.
Okay, so I'm biased, and hopefully, you'll forgive this shameless bit of self promotion. I'm just proud of it, and will say this; as someone that's been reading all sorts of comics and all sorts of fiction for 30 years, it's the kind of comic book I've always wanted to read.
Hi Stephen -- I did miss that one, and I've added it to the list. Thanks for pointing that out.
ReplyDeleteAw! Ha, that's very kind of you, Sandy. Much appreciated...(I don't think anyone will be disappointed with our book. But if they are, I'm open to hearing about it!)
