Aw man this is gonna be great.

Here is the new poster for Hayao Miyazaki's upcoming movie, Ponyo:



Tina Fey? Matt Damon? Cate Blanchett? Nice. Also: love the little dudes in the image below.


The movie is set to be released in the U.S. on August 14, 2009.

    What the hell is a Ponyo? And what's with the giant mother in the water? Do you have to have a 4 year old to know?

    I have no idea who Ponyo is at this point, but I do know that this movie is made by Hayao Miyazaki, who also made Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. I love all of his movies (several of which are appropriate for four year olds, but others are not), and I am sure that this one will be just as great.
